Recruiting talent, and getting the best out of them once they’ve joined and ensuring the right people are retained in the right roles are crucial challenges for organisations in every industry today. Integrated Human Capital Management solutions play a pivotal role in meeting these requirements and aligning an organisations’ people and business strategies. Yet a US expert says HR leaders often struggle to develop a compelling business case to convince the business to invest in their HR systems.
Ken Pearson is Director of Business Architecture at SuccessFactors for Asia Pacific and Japan and prior to that he held several leadership positions with Walmart including operations, human resources, recruiting, diversity and talent.
During his tenure with Walmart, Ken was responsible for several large-scale technology implementations including a global Learning Management System, Virtual Classroom, and a very successful implementation of SuccessFactors Business Execution Software. As the Director of Talent Planning, Ken expanded the human capital strategy from officer succession to over 50,000 Walmart managers across US store operations. Articulating the ROI of these projects was key to Walmart investing in their HCM systems and Ken is sharing his experience with New Zealand HR professionals next week.
Ken will be joined by Michelle Clyde, former HRIS Program Director for Transfield Services and recent addition to the SuccessFactors Business Architect team. Michelle will share her experiences in building a compelling business case to purchase and implement an integrated Human Capital Management solution.
Join us on 19 August 2013 where Ken and Michelle will discuss their recent implementation experience and how they overcame the challenges to purchase and implement an integrated HCM solution in their businesses.
Both of our speakers will cover:
The challenges HR faces today
How to align business strategy and objectives to HCM capabilities
How to translate HCM capabilities into quantifiable business benefits; and
