A multi-million dollar contract to provide SAP support services to the Yellow Pages Group is the largest deal of its kind for Soltius New Zealand.
Following its sale by Telecom, Yellow Pages is transitioning to its new systems and has contracted with Gen-I for all support. As part of the Gen-I contract, Soltius has been subcontracted to provide all support services for the SAP segment of the IT landscape.
Jim Brodie, Director at Soltius, says that the 30-month contract is a coup for the business solutions consultancy. “It’s good for our team to be exposed to an innovative environment like Yellow Pages and they will get to do some interesting work.
“Our support centre was the first to be certified by SAP in New Zealand and we have one of the largest and best-established SAP support teams in the country, so Yellow Pages’ SAP system is in a safe pair of hands.”
Soltius was involved in the initial delivery of the Yellow Pages project, which includes one of only a handful of implementations of SAP IS/Media, an industry solution developed to meet the unique needs of media-related companies.
Soltius currently has more than 25 SAP support clients.
