Australian and New Zealand software solutions provider, Zag, today announces that it has again met the requirements of the AWS Managed Services Provider (MSP) Partner Program for the third year running, passing its annual audit and renewing its status as a recognised AWS MSP Partner.
Managed Service Providers are recognised by AWS as skilled cloud infrastructure and application migration providers, and deliver value to customers by offering proactive monitoring, automation, and management of their customers’ environments.
Craig Davis, Platform Manager for Zag, says that to obtain the AWS Managed Service Partner accreditation, Managed Service Providers must meet stringent requirements, including a third-party audit of their AWS Managed Service capabilities. As AWS audit requirements change year on year, AWS ensure partners are using next-generation services as a part of the Managed Service offering.
Zag evidenced their ability to deliver continuous innovation to customers around security, DevOps, proactive monitoring, anomaly and outlier detection, and streamlined management of their customers’ environment. It builds on its impressive history in delivering SAP solutions to New Zealand and Australian businesses.
Zag is also a certified AWS Reseller and Solution Provider and holds the specialist SAP Competency accreditation. This is reinforced by their 2017 ANZ AWS Partner Award win, where they were named ‘ANZ Specialised Partner of the Year’ for their work managing and migrating SAP workloads. They were finalists again in 2018.
SAP on AWS creates a unique opportunity to create a new service and support structure, which maximises the role of service automation to increase system stability, improve security, deploy project environments faster and deliver lower operating costs. The end state is a solution that can be consumed without the need for customers to maintain infrastructure and specialised skills internally.
Zag’s Managed Services helps customers achieve this outcome and maximise the benefits available to them through quality service delivery and service delivery management.
