The 2019 edition of SAP’s Global Partner Summit has come to its conclusion with the spotlight falling on SAP S/4HANA and C/4HANA solutions. Here’s what the next generation of partnering looks like with SAP and what that means for SAP customers and users.
New Test and Demo Systems available to Partners for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and C/4HANA Suite
Carl McGowan, Chief Architect for Zag Australia explains;
SAP are making many more of their products available for partners to demo to customers, especially their cloud solutions. This means a more hands-on experience with new SAP products and more opportunity to see the solution in action, which aids decision-making.
SAP have announced 12-months free access for partners to test and demo systems on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, their leading intelligent enterprise software, and on SAP C/4HANA, the market-leading suite of customer experience solutions. The SAP C/4HANA suite comprises five cloud solution portfolios: SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and SAP Customer Data Cloud.
This is an initiative to show SAP’s commitment to providing partners with the right resources to support our businesses and ultimately to provide more value and insight. It’s also a sign of confidence in the quality and competitiveness of their solutions.
“SAP’s partner ecosystem is central to our ability to provide businesses across the world with a road map to the Intelligent Enterprise,” said Adaire Fox-Martin, member of the Executive Board of SAP SE and president of Global Customer Operations. “We continually evaluate the services we provide to our partners to ensure they are optimally equipped to deliver value to our customers. The test and demo systems on SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP C/4HANA for our trusted partners are the latest offerings in our ongoing commitment to their success.”
SAP Customers will have Greater Choice due to New Integration Option in Partner Build Program
At the partner day, SAP have announced an extension to its partner build program with a new option for partners that develop solutions outside the SAP software environment to integrate their offerings with SAP solutions, to enrich customers’ end-to-end business processes.
“Through the new integrate option, SAP is enabling partners developing outside the SAP environment to connect their unique data, content and business services to SAP solutions,” said Karl Fahrbach, Chief Partner Officer, SAP. “We recognize that to meet the specific needs of customers on their journey toward becoming intelligent enterprises, our partners require flexibility when building complementary capabilities and integrating those with SAP solutions. Thus, it will help partners expand their market reach and help customers drive more insight and intelligence from their business processes powered by the solutions they trust.”
This will expose a new and exciting network of complimentary solutions, extensions and applications built from the knowledge, IP and unique experience of certified SAP build partners. SAP customers will have the opportunity to browse through the integrated solutions available on portals like the SAP App Centre, the digital marketplace for SAP partner offerings.
