Zag, part of Accenture, recently announced the exciting new appointment of Technologies Business Line Manager, Dianne Wheeler (Di).
Di‘s technical nous around SAP and the UX space has seen her rapidly scale the ranks during her 10-year tenure with Zag, from Consultant, Senior Consultant, Architect, Lead Architect and now Business Line Manager.
In her new role, she leads a team of 22 talented technology experts across Australasia. Each plays a pivotal role in delivering SAP technologies, implementations and support services, within New Zealand and Australian organisations and on-going SAP upgrades, maintenance, and functionality improvements.
“As an organisation, we have made a conscious effort to never stay still and remain as focused on customer needs from the day we began.
From launching the first S/4HANA and Fiori projects in New Zealand, which I was lucky enough to be a part of, we’ve continued to evolve and remain at the forefront of this space.”
Di’s wealth of knowledge stems from a total of 18 years SAP experience which, prior to joining Zag, was in government and telecommunications internal support roles. Her highly sought-after skillset, along with her passion for people and ‘people care’, will continue to guide the Technologies Team to deliver successful business outcomes for Zag and its customers.
“When I joined in mid-2000, I was most impressed by the people and the way everyone shared their knowledge and was available to bounce ideas off. I was also impressed by the culture, it felt like the company was a bit of a rarity in an industry where everyone changes jobs every 2-4 years, Zag had employees who had already been there for 10-15 years, and that was when I started over 10 years ago.
As Technologies Business Line Manager, I believe in nurturing skill and providing the same sort of ‘mentorship’ I received when I started. Empowering our people through development is why we continue to be New Zealand’s leading SAP and Cloud Partner.”
Dianne will report to the Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Roberts, joining other Business Line Managers who head up Zag’s SAP, Cloud and Spatial consulting operations in both Australia and New Zealand.
