Celebrating our people is fundamental to our values – our people make what Soltius is today.
We were proud to celebrate a major milestone for some our team at our recent annual conference in scarfie territory, Dunedin.
Cam Millar, Nick Mulcahy, Paul Austen (pictured above), and Paul Rondel, all celebrated 15 years of service.
Some memories and achievements over the years:
As Chief Executive, Nick Mulcahy fondly remembers a company conference held in Waiheke which saw a ‘full blown haka’ performed by Soltius staff. It’s the team and ‘great stuff’ that Soltius delivers to its customers that keeps Nick passionate about his role.
For Cam Millar, Global Channel Manager, watching the company grow and change has been a major highlight. Starting out as an IT Network Administrator, Cam has worked his way up the ranks. The culture and enjoyment of the team coming together at the annual company conference is a highlight for him every year.
Paul Austen, Support Lead based in the Wellington office, jokes he’s not sure if its dedication or his lack of imagination that’s kept him at Soltius, but in truth, he says it’s the variety of opportunity that keeps him challenged and excited. His proudest achievement is his involvement with a leading New Zealand energy company, the work that he implemented is still running 12 years down the track – awesome!
The greatest memory for Paul Rondel, Project Manager, has also been seeing how the company has grown and changed over time. Highlights include the times when he sees everyone enjoying each other’s company, be it in the office on a Friday evening, or at the annual conference. “What we achieve together is better than anything I can remember doing on my own.”
This is a true testament to the company culture and values. Congratulations team and here’s to many more memorable moments in years to come.
